DagonTEK CAD Studio

See the object before the machine makes it.

Bring a photograph, sketch, measurement, or existing model. Develop the geometry, inspect every side, correct the weak points, and approve the production file.

Geometry inspection

Turn it. Examine every side.

An object should be inspected before it becomes a machine job. Rotate this model to examine its depth, edges, back, and overall form.

A controlled design route

From description to editable geometry.

01

Describe or show it

A sentence, photograph, sketch, measurement, or existing object begins the job.

02

Create the master

Develop editable geometry whose dimensions and important relationships can be revised.

03

Inspect every side

Evaluate depth, openings, fragile areas, scale, material, and intended fit.

04

Deliver the right file

Prepare the approved object for printing, animation, visualization, or another production route.

The way you’re used to doing things

A plausible shape still has to fit the real object.

Before the work could begin

You need a part that fits. First come the measurements, modeling software, material choices and learning how to describe the geometry. Then comes creating the part, testing it physically and making corrections that must survive into the next session.

Stop doing it the hard way

The intended CAD workflow carries measurements and design constraints into the model, records revisions, checks production preparation, and brings physical fit results back into the design. A rough scan is not represented as validated CAD.

What counts as a finished result

An editable measured design, documented assumptions, and production and fit-test evidence appropriate to the part’s purpose.

The workflow shown above is under development. We’re working as hard and fast as we can to bring the DagonTEK Studio to life.
