Privacy Policy

This notice covers the DagonTEK website and development versions of The DagonTEK Studio supplied by DagonTEK. Contact admin@dagontek.com with privacy questions or requests. It distinguishes current desktop behavior from the TikTok integration that is still being developed.

Information on your computer

The desktop development version stores project files, conversation checkpoints, account metadata and task records on the computer running it. Records can include instructions, file paths, account identifiers, results, upload receipts and errors. Supported account credentials are kept in Windows Credential Manager rather than the public account list. Information stored locally is not automatically a support submission to DagonTEK.

Services you choose to connect

When you select connected intelligence, task information required for the request is sent to the chosen provider. When you authorize an external production or publishing task, the relevant files, account authorization and instructions are sent to that service. Publication can expose your selected content and associated account information to the audience chosen for that platform. Local storage does not mean that an external action you request remains entirely on your computer.

Connected providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Account authorization is used to perform and track the actions you request, not as permission to send your unrelated files or project history. Provider access does not by itself authorize optional product-usage reporting.

TikTok connection under development

The planned TikTok connection uses Login Kit's user.info.basic permission to identify the account you authorize, including its identifier and basic profile information such as display name and avatar. Content Posting API's video.upload permission is intended to send the video you select to that account as a draft for your review and completion in TikTok.

This flow requires authorization tokens and uses upload identifiers, status responses and errors to perform and track your requested upload. It does not request private messages, contacts or unrelated content. The TikTok connection is not yet available: this description is not a claim that authorization, draft upload or in-app removal controls have been completed. TikTok processes information sent to it under its Privacy Policy.

Support and optional reporting

A crash or failed task does not authorize automatic diagnostic transmission, remote access or downloads for support. A support submission requires you to deliberately choose the information and request that it be sent. Optional product-usage reporting is separate from using a connected service; there is no implemented optional usage-reporting service in the current development version.

Website operation and correspondence

The website is hosted using Cloudflare services. Hosting and security operations can process information such as IP address, request time, requested address, browser information and technical errors to deliver and protect the site. Browser storage may retain preferences or functional settings. This notice does not promise that hosting is free of technical logs.

If you email DagonTEK or intentionally submit information through an available contact feature, the supplied contact details and message are used to respond and handle that request. A preview form that says a message was not sent is not a completed submission. Please do not send account passwords, access tokens or unnecessary sensitive information in ordinary correspondence.

Retention, disconnection and deletion

Local project files and records may remain on your computer until you remove them. Service tokens remain useful only while the authorization is valid; provider access may be revoked through the provider's account settings. Revoking access does not remove previously uploaded content or copies retained by that provider. Manage those separately with the service concerned.

For information you have sent to DagonTEK, contact admin@dagontek.com to request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify your identity and the information involved. Correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request and applicable operational or legal obligations, rather than under a promised universal deletion period. Local copies on your computer and records held independently by providers require their respective controls.

Security, rights and changes

Protect your device and connected accounts. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure. Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you additional rights concerning personal information. You can contact DagonTEK to exercise applicable rights or raise a concern; this notice does not limit rights provided by law.
